Course FAQS
When are the course dates?
The course structure is specifically designed to be “on-rolling” which means you can register at any time. Therefore, there are no specific dates for any of our courses.
The advantage of our course structure gives you flexibility when you want to start the course, please see the “What is the course structure” tab for further details.
What is the course structure?
Our courses come in Two Sections, the Medical Ozone Theory which includes an exam at the end, and the second section is the Live Practical Training.
The Medical Ozone Theory and Medical Ozone Theory Exam are online. Due to the Theory being taught online, this provides the flexibility for you to start the course as and when you want.
Once you have completed the Theory and the Theory Exam you will be scheduled to take part in the Live Practical Training, which takes place at our dedicated training venue based in London, where you will be expected to attend to complete the course.
How long does the course take to complete?
Due to the first section being an online video education, it depends on your time management, the more time you have to spend on the Theory section the quicker you can complete this section.
On average a practitioner can take between 1-3 months to complete the theory section and take the exam. This means that within this period practitioners have also spent time revising the lessons to prepare for the exam.
Once you successfully pass the Medical Ozone Theory Exam, we can schedule your Live Practical Training within two weeks, or at a later time that is convenient for you.
The Live Practical Training is between 0.5 to 2 days long depending on which course you have registered on, except for one course that takes longer due to 6 months of additional mentoring and training.
What is important to note is that the course licence is for one year only, which means you have one year to complete the course.
Are there additional materials provided on the course?
Yes, you can download the materials from the website. At the bottom of the video, you will see a blue link indicating the materials available for download and the video lesson should indicate that there are additional materials to download for that particular lesson.
What is expected of me for the Online Medical Ozone Theory Exam?
The medical ozone theory exam takes place online. This means you can schedule your exam at a time that suits you, no matter where you are in the world and at any time that you choose.
You are expected to achieve the 70% pass mark to continue onto the Live Practical Training.
You can retake the Medical Ozone Theory Exam a further two times if you did not achieve the 70% pass mark the first time.
The type of questions involved in the theory exam is a mixture of multiple-choice, true or false, fill in the gaps, single-line responses and some paragraph answers to explain some concepts involved in medical ozone.
What’s involved in the Live Practical Training?
The Medical Ozone Research Institute provides a dedicated training venue that has an integrated clinic. What makes our Live Practical Training unique when compared to other providers, is that the practitioner experiences a direct relationship with patients already receiving ozone therapy.
The enables the practitioner to receive an authentic field training, to directly speak to the patients regarding their medical history and experience with ozone therapy and compare their patient management before receiving ozone therapy.
The practitioner is able to observe and experience first-hand to be in an experienced ozone therapy clinic and how it functions and use the ozone equipment.
Our clinical director assesses your abilities in the training to provide a personalised, focused training experience, so that, the practitioners are able to identify specific areas within the procedures that may require further attention to detail.
The day starts with a quick overview of the medical ozone theory and health and safety requirements. A specialised area of medical ozone theory is taught, which is specific to the course method of application being taught.
Demonstrations and procedures are orientated to the patient requirements on the day of the training, giving practitioners time to directly speak with the patients. Some practitioners depending on their previous clinical experience are able to assist and take part in the procedures being trained.
What recommendations do you advise before starting the course?
We suggest the following points:
- Have a notebook to make revision notes and diagrams that are relevant to each lesson. Make a note of the time code on the video, so that you can easily go to the specific points in the lesson that may help towards your revision.
- Spend approximately one hour on each lesson, this may include additional reading from research papers or books we have recommended and or additional research you have initiated for yourself.
- Once you have completed the lesson and the short quiz for that lesson you can always return to that lesson to watch the video as many times as you want.
- If there is any section of the lesson you don’t understand or have difficulty with you can contact our support via our WhatsApp Channel where we can assist you and even schedule a one-to-one video/audio chat.
- Give yourself time to revise the materials and lessons before taking the exam, don’t dismiss the short quizzes after each lesson as they often hold clues to what could be included in the exam.
- Cross exam the data between the lessons, and the materials provided, through the recommended books and research papers in the research library.
- If you don’t know or understand what the concept of the lesson is about, then please ask for help, we don’t know what it is that you’re going through, however, by reaching out to us or through the WhatsApp MORI group chat we can support and assist you.

What happens if I don’t complete the course within the 1 Year Licence?
IF, for whatever reason, the practitioner is unable to complete the course within the 1 year, the practitioner must send an email to communicate your reasons. If we do not hear from the practitioner within the 1 month after the account has expired, the account will automatically close.
We do understand that some circumstances are out of a person's control, however, a practitioner must still communicate with MORI so that we are aware of the circumstances.
If we do not receive any communication from the practitioner after 3 months when the license expires, the practitioner's account will automatically be terminated.
Any loss of data and registration fees for any course not completed will not be refunded or transferred onto another course. It is the practitioner's responsibility to communicate with MORI to ensure the validation of an extension to a practitioner's licence, account and course access.
